Federico is the chief executive officer of Bioceres, a position held since 2011. Federico was general manager of INDEAR from 2009 to 2011, was director of product development of INDEAR from 2008 to 2009, and originally joined INDEAR as the team leader of the Amaranth project, a position he held from 2005 to 2009. Federico has a Ph.D. in crop sciences and a CBA from the University of Illinois, a master’s degree in plant pathology and weed science from Colorado State University and a degree in biochemistry from Louisiana State University.
Enrique López Lecube

Enrique López Lecube has served as our chief financial officer since December 2017. He was appointed as executive member of the board of directors of Chemotécnica in December 2016. Prior to joining us, he serves as Manager for M&A and Corporate Finance at Lartirigoyen & Cia S.A. – a Glencore subsidiary – since 2016, where he led transactions in the food, chemical and service industries and worked in the finance department to oversee 10 group entities. Previously, he worked as head trader from 2010 to 2016 at Lartirigoyen & Cia S.A. From 2008 to 2010, he worked at Cargill focusing on grain and oilseed. Mr. López Lecoube received an MBA from Kellogg of School of Management of Northwestern University and a degree as an industrial engineer from ITBA (Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires).
Position Chief Operating Officer

Jorge Wagner has served as our chief operating officer since October 2016. He has also served as chief financial officer of Rizobacter since 2015. Prior to that, he served as regional chief financial officer (Paraguay, Uruguay, Argentina and Bolivia) of Syngenta Agro S.A. from 2010 to 2013. He received a CPA and an MBA from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Position Director of Strategy

Claudio is the director of strategy of Bioceres, a position held since 2011. Claudio was a founding member of Bioceres and previously served as a strategic planning consultant to Bioceres. Before joining Bioceres, Claudio worked as general manager at Sintesis Quimica S.A., a position held from 2009 to 2011. He also held various senior management positions including country manager for Zeneca-Syngenta, Makhteshim-Agan, and the Punjab Group. Claudio has a Ph.D. in ecology from Colorado State University and a degree in agronomy from the National University of Buenos Aires.
Gloria Montaron Estrada
Position General Counsel

Gloria is the general counsel of Bioceres, a position she has held since 2014. Before joining Bioceres, Gloria had a 16-year career at the law offices of Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal in Buenos Aires. At Marval, Gloria had an extensive practice as senior counsel in the intellectual property department, with prior experience in the corporate and banking practices. Gloria has an LL.M. in intellectual property from the University of Palermo, Buenos Aires and a degree in law from the University of Buenos Aires.
Carlos Ivan Camargo de Colón

Carlos has extensive experience in both the agriculture and energy sectors with over 25 years of experience, having held positions in Brazil, the US, the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates. Prior to joining Bioceres, Carlos was based in Dubai as managing director at Peregrine Advisors, where he focused on agricultural opportunities in Africa and Brazil. While in Dubai he was also a special advisor to Expo 2020 on disruptive technologies in the energy sector. Prior to this, he was an investment banker for over 15 years at UBS Investment Bank and Morgan Stanley. He received a bachelor’s degree in history from Columbia University in the City of New York. Carlos is also a board member of Fundação Cruz de Malta, a Brazilian based charity which focuses on assisting disadvantaged children and young mothers, and a board member of British Friends of Campos, a UK based charity with a focus on education.

Gerónimo is the chief technology officer of Bioceres, a position he has held since 2014. Gerónimo was the director of INDEAR’s product development efforts from 2011 to 2014, served as the head of technology testing and field operations until 2011 and originally joined INDEAR in 2005 as a member of the Amaranth project. Gerónimo has a master’s degree in agronomy from Kansas State University and a degree in agronomy from the Catholic University of Cordoba.

Martín is the chief scientific officer of Bioceres, a position he has held since 2014. Martín was the team leader in genomics and bioinformatics from 2009 to 2014 and originally joined INDEAR as an external consultant for high-throughput genomic sequencing technologies, a position he held from 2005 to 2009. Martín is currently an independent fellow at CONICET, an organization that he has been a part of since 1999. Martín has a Ph.D. in biological sciences and a degree in biology from the University of Buenos Aires.

Moisés is the director of regulatory affairs of Bioceres, a position he has held since 2012. Moisés has been a leader in the development of guidance for agencies in the regulation of transgenic crops. He was the Executive Secretary of CONABIA between 2004 and 2010. Moisés has been a member of the OECD Working Group on Biotechnology Regulation and has been recently nominated as an Honorary Member of the REDBIO. Moisés has a Ph. D. in Chemistry from the University of Buenos Aires.
